What is ToFindAI?

ToFindAI™ is the world’s first human-curated, AI-assisted directory for discovering artificial intelligence tools, apps, and creative services — from music generators and chatbots to full business automation suites.

Do I need an account to browse?

No. You can explore all public listings and categories freely. An account is only required to submit, advertise, or become an affiliate.

Are listings verified or sponsored?

All paid listings and banners are verified for legitimacy and functionality. Free listings undergo a light AI review by Byte, our in-house moderation system. Sponsored listings are clearly marked as “Promoted.”

What do the listing tiers mean?

Free — Basic directory placement, usually linked to affiliate programs.
Featured — Highlighted visually and prioritized in category searches.
Premium — Top-tier placement with larger logo, verified badge, and optional banners.

Can I suggest a missing tool?

Yes. Click “Submit” at the top of the page and fill out the quick form. Approved entries will appear automatically after moderation or payment confirmation.

What happens if a listing expires?

Listings connected to monthly or annual subscriptions remain live as long as the subscription is active. If payment stops, the listing automatically downgrades to inactive or free-tier status.

For Vendors & Developers

How do I list my AI product?

Use the Submit page. Choose up to three categories for your product and upload details. Payment (if applicable) is processed securely through PayPal.

How does multi-category pricing work?

The first category is billed at full price. Each additional category (up to two more) receives an automatic 50% discount. This allows your tool to appear in multiple categories at lower cost.

How do subscriptions and renewals work?

Paid listings and banners are billed automatically on a monthly or annual basis through PayPal Subscriptions. Annual plans include a 2-month discount if prepaid in full. You can cancel anytime from your PayPal account or contact our team for help.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. You can upgrade from Free → Featured → Premium at any time. The system will automatically adjust your next billing cycle.

Can I edit or move my listing?

Yes. Edits are allowed through your Vendor Dashboard (coming soon). You can update text, change categories, or upgrade to include banners.

What are banners and how do they work?

Banners are image-based ads connected directly to your listing. You can upload a banner during checkout or later through your account. Banners appear in rotating “zones” such as the top hero bar or side panels, depending on tier purchased.

What are the banner sizes and prices?

Standard sizes:
Hero / Top — 960×200px (prime exposure)
Sidebar — 300×600px (scrolling rotation)

Pricing is flexible and set by the admin team. Banners are billed monthly or annually like listings, and may cost from $500 to $1,000+ per month depending on exposure level.

Do banners auto-renew?

Yes. Banner subscriptions auto-renew along with your listing unless cancelled. Expired banners automatically stop displaying.

What image formats are supported?

Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, GIF (static). Animated banners and video loops may be added in future updates.

Can I run more than one campaign?

Yes. You can manage multiple listings and banner campaigns simultaneously. Each will have its own billing plan and analytics.

For Advertisers & Sponsors

What are ad zones?

Ad zones are designated spaces within the site layout — such as Homepage Top, Category Top, and Sidebar. The system rotates all approved banners intelligently across those zones to ensure balanced exposure.

Can I target specific audiences or categories?

Yes. When submitting your banner campaign, choose the category or zone you’d like your ad to appear in. Premium sponsors receive prioritized rotation and exclusive placement options.

How do I upload or change my banner?

After checkout, go to your confirmation page or vendor dashboard and click “Upload Your Banner.” You can replace your banner anytime during an active campaign.

Can I pay per click or impression?

Yes — the Ad Engine supports CPM (impressions), CPC (clicks), and flat-rate (duration) models. Duration-based subscriptions are recommended for simplicity.

What analytics are available?

Advertisers can track impressions, clicks, conversions, and billing history directly from the Ad Manager dashboard (beta feature).

For Affiliates

How do I become an affiliate?

Join via the Affiliate Program page. Once approved, you’ll get your referral link instantly and can start earning commissions for referred vendors or advertisers.

How much can I earn?

Standard commission is 25% recurring on all active subscriptions (listings, banners, and campaigns). Limited-time events may offer bonus rates.

When are affiliate payouts sent?

Commissions are paid monthly once your balance reaches $50 USD. Payouts are typically made via PayPal.

For Admins & Moderators

Can I toggle sandbox or live mode?

Yes. Use the Admin → Payment Settings panel to switch between PayPal Sandbox (testing) and Live (production) environments. This allows you to safely test new features before going public.

How are banners approved?

New banners appear in the Admin → Banner Approvals section. Admins can Approve, Expire, or Delete banners instantly. Only approved banners with active subscriptions are displayed publicly.

Can I change listing and banner prices?

Yes. Use the Admin → Pricing Settings page to edit base prices, discount rates, billing frequency, and category multipliers.

Can multiple admins manage ToFindAI?

Yes. Multiple admin accounts with different permissions can moderate listings, manage payments, or view analytics simultaneously.

What happens if a subscription is cancelled or fails?

PayPal automatically notifies the system through secure webhooks. The listing or banner is marked as expired, and visibility stops immediately until renewed.
